THE FIRST GIGAFACTORY IN RUSSIA

In 2025, RANERA opens Russia's first high-tech gigafactory for the production of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 4,000 MWh (4 GWh).

This capacity is sufficient to provide 50,000 electric vehicles with traction batteries.

THE CAPACITY OF THE NEW GIGAFACTORY IS 4 GWH

The production is called a gigafactory, because products measured in gigawatt hours will be produced here. We are the first in Russia to start mass-producing traction batteries (TAB) for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

GIGAFACTORY OPENING — 2025

The gigafactory, equipped with new equipment with robotic lines, will open in August 2025 in the Neman district of the Kaliningrad region. The plant will carry out a full cycle of production of lithium-ion batteries.

NEW JOBS AND CURRENT VACANCIES

The production will require about 900 specialists: technologists, electrical fitters, assemblers, packers, laboratory assistants, current source testers, quality specialists, management staff and others.

There is also an opportunity to sign up and do an internship.

50,000 BATTERIES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES PER YEAR

The transport with our batteries is used by top officials of the state, passengers of trolleybuses of St. Petersburg, ore is mined in the quarries of the CIS countries. Today, RENERA’S engineers are developing batteries for the largest projects of well-known Russian automakers.
